This is the second GoT teaser poster I did after watching the first episode of Series 5 entitled The Wars To Come.
Just to help remember I post the first poster again:
They look like this together:
As you see the two posters are themed around the title of the story: A Song of Ice and Fire.
And now let’s watch the penultimate episode of Series 6…
My newest picture is called Join The Resistance.
It is more calm and peaceful than the intentionally chaotic, more dynamic Crush The Resistance:
Crush The Resistance was recently published on the back cover of TeeKay-421 but this is not its only appearance: Celebration Europe 2016 will launch in a month and on July 15th, Crush and Join the Resistance both will be presented at the booth of TeeKay-421, the Belgian Star Wars Fan Club. If you will be there, come and check the pictures!
Finally, here is the wallpaper version of them together:
My newest piece is an event poster for Pomáz Wind Orchestra – I have a long-time, fruitful relationship with them.
This concert will be a symphony of Star Wars pieces including Jedi Steps and Rey’s Theme from The Force Awakens. As part of the additional programs, I will have an exhibition in the concert hall. more details later…
By the way, did I mention that I am open for commissions? I do personal pieces as well as event posters or product packaging – check my site if you want to see what I can do and let me know what you want!
This update is the second part of my Choices series.
The first part was about Anakin’s decision between the Sith and Jedi way. This one shows how the dark side of the Force and the war destroys the values of peace and love.
The picture is a tribute to John Alvin and his masterful artworks.
Today’s update is a bizarre piece about the Galactic Empire. Nevertheless, I hope you will like it – for me, it tells a lot about the deep feelings and motivations that keep the Empire together.
The title of the picture is Imperium Forte, latin for Mighty Empire.
Remember the words of an Imperial officer, Grand Moff Tarkin from A New Hope:
Fear will keep the local systems in line!
… and the words of a wise Jedi Master in The Phantom Menace:
Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.
Today is my birthday and I present you this tribute to the first Death Star and the well-looking TIE-Fighters.
I made a revised version for an earlier The Force Awakens poster. That old one was entitled “I will fulfill our destiny” but after watching the movie I felt that a bit inappropriate because that sentence sounded like part of a pray and not like a powerful statement.
Therefore, I re-did the poster and the result is: Crush the Resistance!
This was one of my submissions for Celebration Europe 2016 Art Show but the piece was rejected. Nevertheless, it appeared on the back cover of the 75th issue of Teekay-421, the official magazine of the Belgian Star Wars Fan Club, out this Monday.
I hope you like the poster in this form because surely, this was not its only appearance.
Winter in coming… as the trailer for Season 6. I think it is a good occasion to look back to the first episode of Series 5 entitled The Wars To Come. I found it so inspiring that I created two teaser posters for the series. This is the first one:
Part of a photo by Matthew O’Sullivan was used in this collage by permission.
The second one will be posted later, maybe when the Series 6 trailer is out.
EDIT: The second poster is online now – however, a bit later than I planned originally. Here are they together:
Are you watching The X-Files Series 10? It has a strong nostalgic feeling and I really liked episodes #2 and #3. It’s good to know that the truth is still out there.
Here is my promotional poster artwork for the show:
I continue the Once Upon a Time series I started last year with David Nolan a.k.a. Prince Charming.
