This is the second GoT teaser poster I did after watching the first episode of Series 5 entitled The Wars To Come.
Just to help remember I post the first poster again:
They look like this together:
As you see the two posters are themed around the title of the story: A Song of Ice and Fire.
And now let’s watch the penultimate episode of Series 6…
This update is the second part of my Choices series.
The first part was about Anakin’s decision between the Sith and Jedi way. This one shows how the dark side of the Force and the war destroys the values of peace and love.
The picture is a tribute to John Alvin and his masterful artworks.
May the Fourth be with everyone! To celebrate this day, I go back to the beginning of the Star Wars saga with a new poster entitled Choices.
This picture is about the choices Anakin, the Chosen One, the son of the suns has to make during his life: choose between the Jedi and Sith, good and bad, light and dark. The choices are depicted by the mentors/father-like characters in Anakin’s life: Qui-Gon Jinn from The Phantom Menace and Palpatine from Revenge Of The Sith. Their meeting planets are also included: the light, plain deserts of Tatooine, far-far away from everything; and the millions of lights in the darkness of Coruscant, the poisoned heart of the Republic. Naboo N-1 fighters from Episode I and Jedi Fighters from Episode III also enhance the timespan and depth of the picture.
Finally, a few words about Jake Lloyd, who played young Anakin in The Phantom Menace and who suffers from schizophrenia, a very serious illness that affects circa 1% of the population. I believe everyone of us in the Star Wars community wishes the best to him.
“Until the End” – The second part of a poster trio dedicated to the Death from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1-2.
The main theme of this poster series is the way how different characters face Death. The first part (entitled “Always”) shows Severus Snape with the lifeless body of Lily Evans while Death takes his life.
A chilly breeze that seemed to emanate from the heart of the forest lifted the hair at Harry’s brow. He knew that they would not tell him to go, that it would have to be his decision.
“You’ll stay with me?”
“Until the very end,” said James.
“They won’t be able to see you?” asked Harry.
“We are part of you,” said Sirius. “Invisible to anyone else.”
Harry looked at his mother.
“Stay close to me,” he said quietly.

Today’s update is a bizarre piece about the Galactic Empire. Nevertheless, I hope you will like it – for me, it tells a lot about the deep feelings and motivations that keep the Empire together.
The title of the picture is Imperium Forte, latin for Mighty Empire.
Remember the words of an Imperial officer, Grand Moff Tarkin from A New Hope:
Fear will keep the local systems in line!
… and the words of a wise Jedi Master in The Phantom Menace:
Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.
My fellow readers from New York (and surroundings): visual gurus of ILM will held a presentation about the past, present and future of Industrial Light & Magic on 10th March in Kaufmann Concert Hall (Lexington Avenue at 92nd St, New York).
If you are interested in it (I certainly do but cannot be there, unfortunately) you can learn more about this event here.
After the Barbara Palvin artwork, I wanted to do something about Taylor Swift:
The picture is based on a beautiful photo for GQ Magazine.
Yes, besides being a Star Wars fan, I am a Swiftie, too. But don’t worry, I have some Star Wars stuff in preparation.
